Serverless deployments with Terraform

This is a free, 1-hour event for engineers who want to simplify deployments of AWS services.

Tired of clicking through the AWS Console to manage your serverless applications?

In this session, we will investigate the use of Terraform for deploying AWS Lambda services, to see how it can simplify the building and deploying of your Lambda functions irrespective of their implementation language.

We will look at the use of Terraform and other tooling to facilitate the deployment of your serverless functions to different AWS regions.

After attending this session participants will be able to create Lambda functions in various languages and deploy them to AWS.

About the Instructor

Michael has worked for many years in the Telecom and Cloud industries as a Researcher, a Developer and Pre-Sales Solution Architect at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise before branching out as an independent trainer and consultant specializing in Cloud Technologies.

Michael is British but has lived 28 years in his adopted hometown of Grenoble in the French Alps.

Michael runs local Cloud Native, Docker and Python Meetup groups and has presented and run workshops in various conferences on subjects including Kubernetes, Serverless, Unikernels, Jupyter.
